NEWS & EVENTS
Back in September 2018, the brand new Beermat Entrepreneur was Book of the Month in WH Smith Travel (that's the section that runs all the shops in stations and airports). It was nice to see it there, in pole position in busy bookshops. Since then, however, things have gone rather quiet on the Beermat front.
I am now working on a business ghosting project and a memoir.
I chaired a session at this year's Kings Lynn Literature Festival, introducing the audience to two writers, Lydia Syson and Monisha Rajesh. Most enjoyable!
In April, I will be doing my Eurovision Extravaganza show at Hertford Library.
On Thursday 18th May, I am participating in an event at the Royal Geographical Society at 1 Kensington Gore, Kensington, London SW7 2AR. It is on Eurovision and European identity in the post-Brexit world. It will run from 7 tiil 9. the event will be chaired by Evan Davies, from Newsnight. Dr Catherine Baker will be speaking, too - and other speakers are planned. It should be a fascinating evening with some real insights for any of us interested in the future of Europe.
